10 AM Worship Service; Covenant & Commandments
Dear Church,
Our journey through the story of the Bible continues this week with the freed people of Israel receiving the 10 Commandments while camped at Mt. Sinai (also known as Mt. Horeb, where Moses first encountered God in the burning bush). On this same mountaintop, God reveals God's self yet again through these foundational tenets for faithful living. Together, we'll explore what they mean for our lives today.
An important note: at the end of worship, we will also practice our safety exit plan that Parish Nurse, Sue Asselin, went over in worship on September 27th. Rest assured this will be a calm, quiet, and gentle practice, with instructions and guidance from staff/volunteers as we literally walk through the plan. The goal is for absolutely everyone, regardless of age or mobility level, to feel comfortable and confident moving through the Meetinghouse in case of emergency. Please see more information further in this newsletter and in a stand-alone eblast sent on Wednesday, October 7th. We thank you for your attention and cooperation!
ALL are invited to worship in person and online!
In faith,
Pastor Cydney
